The mission of Step by Step is to empower women who are, have been, or are at risk of being incarcerated to claim their strengths and build healthy lives for themselves and their families. We work with women in prison as well as women at risk of incarceration. |

About Step by Step Programming The heart of Step by Step’s programming is a highly-structured eight-week workshop focusing on the life stories of women and the gifts and strengths that can be discovered and claimed in their stories. Step by Step of Rochester conducts programs at Monroe County and Albion State Correctional Facilities for many years serving over 4000 women. |
