the Internal Revenue Service. There are several ways you can help:

United Way
Choose Donor Option 2016 to contribute to Step by
Step. We do not receive any “general” funding from United
Way, but we are a Donor Choice Agency and you can earmark your United
Way contributions for Step by Step.

Corporate Matching Gifts
Many employers offer a matching contribution to their employees’
individual contributions. Check with your employer’s human
resources department for details.
Faith Community “Tithing”
Grants
Many area faith communities designate local social service agencies for
their own “tithing” projects. Step by Step has received
such funding from area faith communities including St. John the
Evangelist, St. Paul’s Church, Downtown United Presbyterian
Church, Episcopal Diocese and Lutheran Charities. Check with your
social ministry committee.
Planned Giving
Check with your financial adviser to see how you can remember Step by
Step in your estate or as a designated beneficiary of any life
insurance policies, etc.
